Welcome to Berlin Airport Taxi! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our taxi booking services. By booking a ride with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Booking and Service Agreement

Booking Process

  • You can book a taxi via our website and phone.
  • Provide accurate details (pick-up/drop-off locations, flight numbers if applicable, passenger count, and special requests).
  • A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email/SMS.

Pricing & Payment

  • Fares are based on distance, time, and vehicle type. We provide estimated fares before booking, but final charges may vary due to:
  • Traffic delays
  • Route changes
  • Additional stops
  • Payment methods include cash (for on-the-spot rides), credit/debit cards, or digital wallets (if available).
  • Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after a driver is assigned.

Waiting Time & Delays

  • Free waiting time: Typically 15-30 minutes after scheduled pick-up (varies by service).
  • Extra charges apply for excessive waiting or last-minute route changes.
  • Flight delays: If you provide your flight number, we track delays and adjust pick-up times accordingly.

2. Passenger Responsibilities

Accurate Information

  • Ensure all booking details (addresses, contact info, luggage count) are correct.
  • Notify us immediately if there are changes.

Behavior & Safety

  • No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances in the vehicle.
  • Respect the driver—abusive behavior may result in ride termination without refund.
  • Seatbelts are mandatory (as per German law).

Lost Items

  • We are not responsible for lost or left-behind items.
  • If you forget something, contact us ASAP—we’ll try to locate it.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Free cancellation if done before driver assignment.
  • Late cancellations (after driver dispatch) may incur a fee (up to the full fare).
  • Rare, but if a driver cancels, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund you.
  • Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method.

4. Vehicle & Service Standards

  • All taxis are licensed, insured, and regularly maintained.
  • Clean interiors and professional drivers.
  • Child seats, wheelchair accessibility, or extra luggage space must be requested in advance.

  • Additional fees may apply.

5. Liability & Limitations

  • We ensure safe, timely, and professional service but are not liable for:
  • Delays due to traffic, weather, or accidents.
  • Missed flights/trains (allow sufficient time for travel).
  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle.
  • All rides are covered by German commercial transport insurance.

  • Passengers are responsible for damages caused intentionally.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Book a taxi for someone else without their consent.
  • Use our service for illegal purposes (e.g., transporting drugs).
  • Misrepresent your identity or payment details.
  • Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

  • We may use your contact info for service updates or promotions (opt-out available).

  • These Terms are governed by German law.

  •  Disputes will first be resolved via negotiation; unresolved issues may go to Berlin courts.
